Delta Cat Whistler
About The Delta Cat Whistler

All of a sudden I see a lil tortie dart among the beams stacked up on the lumber rack at the workshop downtown. I ran home and got some food and hurried back. She was still there. She devoured the food and I whistled at her. Her ears perked up. It was just an idea I had that maybe she would come back and let me feed her again if she heard the whistle again. The following day at the same time I whistled and here she came running.

Since then we have seen the need to help these kind souls. There were very few who even cared about them.  Now there are a few people in this area helping the street kitties. We manage many colonies of cats, feed them every day, check water, and for obvious problems. The cats have learned to respond to my whistle, thus Delta Cat Whistler was born.

Today we feed many colonies everyday. and work toward Trapping, Neutering and Returning them to their areas.  This has greatly reduced the number of unwanted births in the downtown area. We participate in low cost spay neuter clinics and try to raise funds to help with the feeding and neutering expenses.

We are making a difference but we could do so much more with your help as we receive no funding from the city or county.

Thank You,

Bart Conditt

6 KITTENS UPDATE

With Gods help we were able to locate a grieving momma cat that lost her babies in a storm on Monday. We transported the babies to Marianna and tried the babies with Delilah there and they were awesome together. We then brought Delilah and her foster babies back to my house and set them up in a quiet unused room. The momma is doing good with them but I am still worried about the two smallest ones. Thank God for Angel Galvan and family, especially sweet Delilah.

We still need prayers and desperately need donations at this time. We can only help those that we have funds to help. We have several street kitties that need to be treated with antibiotics and we have run out. We can't do this without your help. We only ask for help when we have put everything we have into it already.
